Fred VincentChaparral Concrete Equipment welcomes with both pleasure and excitement the recent addition to our team of experts in the concrete equipment field of Fred Vincent Sr., in the role of Senior Advisor. Fred Sr., father of Managing Partner and CEO Fred Jr., adds both breadth and depth to our already impressive line-up of folks who know the industry and are eager to help meet your needs.

While Fred Sr. will be involved in sales initially, bringing his many years’ experience to that role, he will also develop and provide advisory services to our construction industry clients on a global basis, assisting Chaparral Concrete Equipment clients with their recruitment and placement of concrete industry employees to achieve maximum operational productivity, providing direct consulting services on right-sizing a business, buying or selling a business, and merger and acquisition. He will provide customized business services seminars in small groups to Chaparral Concrete Equipment clients, addressing such issues as corporate culture, branding, achieving a 75% close ratio, Kingdom principles in business, and the specific relationships between time and money.

Mr. Vincent Sr. brings significant educational achievements to his new role as Senior Advisor at Chaparral Concrete Equipment. He holds an associate’s degree in aeronautical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, a B.B.A. in management and marketing from The University of Texas at Arlington, and additional post-graduate study at Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

Mr. Vincent Sr.’s intimate knowledge of the concrete mixer industry is a result of his deep involvement in it as president of Equipment Southwest, Dallas, his responsibilities and immersion in the industry as Western U.S. Regional Manager for Rexcon/Rexnord, a leading concrete mixer and plant manufacturer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and as National Accounts Manager over the past six years with Rush Peterbilt Trucks, the largest heavy truck dealer in the U.S.

Fred Sr. enjoys the concrete mixer and construction industry because it involves working with people who are forward-looking, big-thinking builders who look to the future. He particularly enjoys being involved from the initial planning of a project to its actual realization, thriving on the creativity required to put the right package of equipment together for a particular project. For this reason, among many others, he looks forward eagerly now to helping to put the right companies together with the right people at Chaparral Concrete Equipment.

Fred Sr. counts his evangelical Baptist grandmother, who ran a tailor shop and seamstress business in Colorado Springs, Colorado, during the Great Depression, as the most important personal and ethical influence on him as he was growing up. He counts as the His most important work experience over his career, be believes, was at Rexcon/Rexnord where the corporate culture was defined as “God first, family next, then work.”

While Fred Sr. enjoys golf, gardening, and family in his spare time, he devotes large amounts of his time away from work to teaching English, using the Bible, to people who are new arrivals to the U.S., addressing the needs of inner city children, and coordinating volunteer ministries for some twenty-five ministries ranging from services to homeless persons to orphanages in Africa. His passion is “sharing Christ with others” and encouraging and being encouraged in the process. Fred Sr. is driven by concern for others, by his strong desire to help people become the best that they can be, and by his passion for sharing this message both within the work setting and outside of it.

Sharon Vincent
Sharon Vincent Joining Chaparral Concrete Equipment this month as our Site Manager with responsibilities in a number of key areas within the company is Sharon Vincent, wife of Managing Partner and CEO Fred Vincent, Jr. We are excited to welcome her to the team and excited about all that she brings to her new association and involvement with Chaparral Concrete Equipment!

Sharon comes to Chaparral Concrete with a wealth of experience in business, including some 23 years of intensive involvement and responsibility in the semiconductor industry. In her long-term association with Wonlk Quartz International (formerly Quartz International), Sharon was involved in the manufacturing and supply of quartz products to such semiconductor industry giants as Intel, Motorola, AMD, and others. Starting with QI as Office Manager, Sharon worked her way up the promotional ladder through Site Manager to Materials Manager, enjoying the many roles she was called on to enact at each step of the way. Sharon was a key performer in her former positions, but she particularly enjoyed the Site Manger and Materials Manager positions. Sharon was with Quartz International until its Texas facilities were consolidated with other units in 2009.

Sharon holds an Associate’s degree in Administrative Management.

As Site Manger for Chaparral Concrete Equipment, Sharon will be responsible for a number of major support functions, including but not limited to organizational execution, DMV audit support and prevention, IRS audit support and prevention, purchasing and sourcing support, IT and facilities support, and an array of human resource functions, including health insurance and other benefits, 401K support, and income tax support.

Sharon is a north Texas native, having grown up in Mesquite. She fondly recalls family holiday gatherings in the area and enjoys family time, actively step-parenting the three Vincent boys, boating, adventuring on vacations, and reading. She is committed to community improvement and to helping others through her church, volunteering in several capacities.

Sharon looks forward to the many challenges that await her with Chaparral Concrete Equipment.

Ricardo Molina
Chaparrals Vice President and International Sales Manager, Ricardo Molina, earned a Bachelors degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Monterrey TEC, Mexico, and a Masters degree in Global Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to his native language, Spanish, Mr. Molina is fluent in both English and French. Mr. Molina served the ready-mixed concrete industry as General Manager of ABC Concrete Inc. Austin, Texas, for three years. He has been traveling around the world setting up concrete batch plants and providing technical support on new concrete operations.

Rolando Segovia
Rolando Segovia,is our Regional Manager in Mexico.

Chris Hauge
Chaparral's concrete pump/placement Product Manager, Chris Hauge, started running pumps for other companies in the late 1970's. In 1983 Chris formed his own business: Christopher's Concrete Pumping. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the concrete pumping arena to Chaparral's already burgeoning stable of experts. He has extensive experience with both concrete pumping and placing equipment. Chris can teach you the most important aspects of pumping, and make sure you get the right equipment for your job.

Jose Molina
Jose Molina earned a Bachelors degree of science in Mechanical Engineering from Monterrey TEC and a Masters degree in International & European Business from ESCP-EAP European School of Management, London, UK. For the past few years he's been helping Chaparral with plant maintenances in Mexico and mixer truck deliveries. He is experienced in CRM and international sales. Mr. Molina is a former football player for the Borregos Salvajes and has won several awards such as ITESM Rookie of the Year, ONEFA LineBacker of the year & ITESM Athlete of the Year Award and he's even represented Mexico a couple of times in the Aztec Bowl.



Christopher J. Vincent
Chris, Chaparrals Vice President of IT, earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma Christian University. Chris will be pursuing his M.B.A. in the near future and occasionally plays saxophone for the Roland Allen Band. Check out his latest CD, FUTUR, on Lunacy Records (http://www.lunacyrecords.com).
